Shame on me! For few hours I tought replacing my old air-cooled by a Eurovan. So close to my place, so I went to check it yesterday,

It is not a Eurovan but a Transporter. The westfalia gear (including the pop top and roof rack) comes from a Vanagon '87. It is a neat conversion done by a specialist in the Eastern Township. According to the owner, this folk is now doing business in Alberta. The roof rack has been separated in two part and extended (4 ") with fiberglass. The pop top has been cut 2" thiner. The bad side of this conversion is there is no window in the rear doors and in the back sides.

I'll keep my old beast!

Francoix West 81

Check the roof ! Rear doors ! Interior >(Vanagon ?). Looks like a good deal for someone just the same. This vehicle >is about 2 hours away from me so I cannot just go over there and take a look >see. Anyone on the List closer ?
