Hello TBerk, Yes, you are on the money there. I just got my smog sticker for Basic Emmissions and heading to the Advance next month. If you do have anything done, i.e. an engine change.. expect a nice trip to the referee. Especially if you live in one of the valeeys of Southern Ca! The only true expection, would be if you were changing an engine out, it would have to be an engine that was offered that year. With, of course, it should have the smog equipment required of that engine. By the way, I swore I would never own another vehicle with fuel ijection... and I end up buying a 1980 vanagon.. lol Michael aka ECHO (slowly getting back to the list.. working 7 days a week and going to school full time.. ugh. ) --- T Berk <tberk@MINDSPRING.COM> wrote: > Jeffrey R wrote: > > > > I don;t have a conversion in my bus (just the > stock 1.9 waterboxer) but I did > > just go through the CA smog exam at a "Test Only" > station--and passed by a > > hair.
