Before I start - let me state for the record that all of this is based on
the assumption that the ETKA CD contains software, and not just doc files.
That out of the way, when you create a CD that is readable by both a
IBM-PC and a MAC, the only thing that you are modifying is the way that
the data is stored on the CD. It does nothing for the compatibility of
the files that it stores. A Windows program will still require a machine
running Windows (or a Windows emulator), you'll just be able to SEE the
files on your Mac. The same thing works the other way too. A Mac program
burned onto a Dual format CD will be visible to someone running an IBM-PC,
but they would still need a MAC (or, again, an emulator) in order to run
the software.
I don't know if that makes it easier to figure out.... if not, just drop
me a line agan, and I'll give it another go. :)
Karl.
