40 psi ...

My owner's manual specifies either light truck tires or reinforced. It specifies 40 psi rear for the reinforced. It came with Michelin LT's.

I have around 20K miles on a set of Continental CR21 reinforced and find them equal to or better than Michelin XZX reinforced (which are no longer made). I find the ride of the reinforced tires to be quieter and smoother than that of LT's. I found both Michelin and Bridgestone LT's to skid easily on wet roads. Neither the Michelin reinforced or the Continental reinforced have that problem.

But, I have a GL, not a Westy.
