Chris,

Tony could have been looking at a 914-6. These models hvae a 914 body shell asssembled by Porsche instead of VW. They had 911T engines, brakes and 911 5-lug wheels. I have one. It is also quite common for 914 enthusiasts to convert to 5-lug Porsche pattern to improve their choices of wheels by use of adapters.

Tony was SPECIFIC that the wheels he had were 5-lug. Who knows? Maybe they're Chevy or Ford wheels or something if they are installed with adapters.
