Distributing information and covering your expenses (your time and labor) Good

Maximizing your profit off of someone else's labor Bad

It's just highly unethical. I missed who the original poster was, but if that mentality is standard business practice for them I would avoid them like the plague.

The guy who originally had the cd .iso file on his site for free distribution now has a very nice letter from Lex Comm telling him very nicely to remove the software or face prosecution. It is probably the most polite threat I have ever seen.
