Change your suction-side fuel filter first, you'd feel pretty silly if that was the problem (and it could very well be, depending on how loud the noise is).

Aside from that, the Pierburg pumps make a high whine that I find disagreeable though certainly tolerable. For $10 (or even $25) difference I'd go with the Bosch.
