If you had a 14" and a 15" tire on the back there might be a problem. I am speaking theoretically of course. It would seem to me that this combination would cause the differential to work a lot harder than it has to because one tire is turning faster that the other. How much damage this would inflict is uncertain. It would certainly heat up the oil in the diff. This is especially true if you are driving a syncro, a major no-no!
