I feel the same way about my Labrador. I love him, but I confess I am more fond of one end than I am the other.

VW or Subaru, either way I certainly would not allow some silly brand of automotive provincialism to serve as criteria for a decision.

BTW, I believe the "s" word you speak if is "superior".
