The thing to do, IMHO, is for someone with a video capture card - capture the video from a VCR, and burn a cdr or two.

Then all generations will be of the same quality. And it's easier to repro a CDR than a video cassette.

Anyone willing to step up to the plate? (I would, but I don't have the requisite hardware.)
