You mean to tell me that I'm supposed to just TRUST the automotive companies that gave us exploding gas tanks, transmissions that clunk into reverse, brakes that fail, and FI systems that catch on fire, on and on ad neauseum? Car companies (especialy american) have shown time and time again that the value of human lives are measured only in terms of lawsuit dollars. If it happens to be cheaper to pay a predicted amount of lawsuit dollars than to fix an existing problem, you can bet that that's the route they will take. Lives are abstract and not even part of the equation.

I don't know if this stuff works as well as welds or not, but the fact that they are using them on Chevy Toyolets is of no consequence at all.
