also, you can probably can pretty much any model retractable antenna from
your local junkyard for about $15 total.  i was with my friend last weekend
when he got one in mint shape from an audi something or other for the above
mentioned $15, with all necessary electronics included.  obviously not an
option if you are into stock, but if not, a definite money saver ...
