The lower cable on my LH window regulator broke today ('89 Carat). Fortunately it's late and I don't have a piece of the correct size cable handy, so I'm not spending my Saturday night messing around re-cabling this thing. Any chance anyone has one of these regulators (used)? Or is it always the cable or guides that break, never the motor? BTW, I found that tie-wraps slid through the inside window seal and through the regulator mounting holes at the window base, do a good job of holding the window up. Of course, I guess a piece of wood jammed in there would work too...
