It has nothing to do with not liking "E-bay". I really enjoy cruising E-bay. It also has nothing to do with not being able to get the good deal. There are some good deals on E-bay. My problem with that post is based in my own emotional insecurity. I love to read about (and dream about) the good deals. I get the digest version so I peruse the headings and if there is something of interest or where I think I can help I cruise down the list and check it out. A cheap Syncro Westy for sale is a very exciting prospect...lots of thoughts go racing...can I sell the kids...maybe my wife won't notice that in the check register...and other things
that are very taxing emotionally...only to find out it is something that is not even priced yet. A starting bid is not a price. If it does not have a price how can it be cheap? I do watch and enjoy E-bay and this is how I come to understand that a low starting bid does not a low price make. Usually it leads to higher prices. I am for capitalism, I am OK with this, I just put way to much emotional stock into things that I probably am not going to end up with anyway. Now just imagine how hard the 16" Double Cab Syncro was on my poor soul. At least he didn't say it was cheap. My Vanagon must be running really well or I wouldn't be wasting
all of your time with this drivel. I apologize.
Emotoinally yours,
Craig
