Maurizio, what year is your Vanagon ? I may be able to help you. I
have an '83 and '87 here at my shop in Almonte which we could swap the ECU
from for a test to see if it is the ECU. I doubt it but worth the try. If
it is the ECU it can be rebuilt by Listee Darrell Boehler who can be reached
by e-mail at: midwesty@midwest.net
