Subject: How do I get into the mystery storage box behind driver seat
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Okay ... I give up ...I tried the seat in every location possible ...The steering wheel gets in the way and I can't get to that storage box behind the driver seat..

anyone managed to do it?

If not, next move is to drill out the rivits ...then at least I can store stuff in there

Steve

p.s this is a westy van if that makes any difference.

p.p.s the whole swivel thing on the driver side seems a waste of time to me. All I've managed to do is put the back straight up and swivel it 90 degrees with the back next to the driver door. It's then just possible to wedge yourself in as long as you dont mind the steering wheel in your side and don't mind sitting bolt upright.
