Subject: 2.1l Waterboxer For Sale
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Here's the story:

I'm adding an a/c system to my 87 Westy and planned on adding the TIICO engine sometime soon. Well, the schedule may move up since, to add the TIICO I would have to open the a/c lines again. I had planned on selling my waterboxer when I did the swap and would have prefered to have someone buy it who could come and test drive it before I pulled it. So, if you're in the Salt Lake (Utah) area and interested in a very good 2.1 let me know. Here's some of the details:

Located in Sandy, Utah.

Only 85k miles - full synthetic oil since I've owned it (about 50k miles)

All systems work great. Very clean very good engine. Whatever I don't need for the TIICO swap will be included with the engine. This means you'll get:

- an almost-new ignition system - a perfectly functioning FI system (T.Body has been recently rebuilt so the idle/full throttle switch works property, Airbox has the add-on harness, CPU is in good shape, idle stabilizer controller and valve work great, etc, etc.) - the injectors won't be included. I will also include the CPU wiring harness if I don't need it for the swap. - a very good exhaust system (less the muffler and a few clamps) - a perfect block - even the lifters are nice and quiet

On the downside: one of the heads started dripping last winter. It only dripped a little and has since stopped. My plan was to either do the head gaskets for the new owner or work that into the deal if the new owner was mechanically enclined. It shouldn't need new heads, but I won't know until I pull them. Catching them this early will probably work in their favor but we'll see.

I'm on a long time-frame with this so if you're interested let me know and you can come and do a test drive.

Thanks,

Damian
