Hello all,ive picked up two 091 trannys at my local junkyard, one out of a 86 wasser the other out of a 82 diesel both w/all the clucth stuff and linkages.Codes on the tranny for the 86 is 091ABD ,the diesel is DX ,my question is if i can get enough parts-can i convert one of these to a 5 spd?The haynes manual shows it (5spd)to have a new nose section and related parts but the rear case and all appears the same.Also ,which one has a lower engine speed at 55 mph?My victim is a 1981 westy 2.0 air sucker with a 090 that shifts when IT wants to!any info appreciated thanks ,tony
