I've got an 82 Vanagon that I'm wrecking out.

It has the complete airconditioning system that you just described.

There are two parts missing. 1. Idler pulley that hangs below the compressor unit. 2. Three feet of return (suction side) hose.

The unit was working and in good condition before my car was stolen, they took the entire air cooled engine.

The drive pulley mounts behind the cooling fan engine blower pulley, the belt then passes through an existing opening behind the big aluminum shroud on the very back of the engine.

The only items that can't be transplanted to your aircooled would be one relays. 1. Clutch relay (the connectors are just too rusty to be much good if I force the wires off, IE rusted in place).

I'll make you a good deal on the entire system after I carefully remove it.

You don't loose your headliner, the ductwork that mounts over your head sits on top of the headliner.

Make me an offer !!

The compressor weighs 32 pounds and I'd estimate all of the other stuf to weigh about 80 pounds.

The system will not fit a Westfalia because the rear overhead air distributor would intefear with the pop-up locking assembly.

Thanks Stan Wilder 83 Westfalia
