Thanks for the 85 Vanagon? responses.....just saw this one! price seems right, engine questionable, does anyone know the cost/availability of rebuilt synchro engines?

Full camper package,a/c,power windows,alloys. Does not smoke, use oil, or leak coolant. Runs like new,maintained well. Bought cabin in mountains and don't use camper much any more.195,000 miles,grey with grey cloth, all canvas and curtians in new condition. tires new, and just passed va saftey inspection. some dents but never in accident. some seam rust on driver's side but sound frame and paneling"
