We're in the process of doing a 2001 golf/jetta engine conversion using an engine kit from South Africa. As there is no O2 sensor wiring in the kit you have to supply the wiring from the old harness. We know which pin to use for the signal wire (#38) but there is no pin specified for the shield (ground) connection. Anybody out there, especially from South Africa, that might be able to provide a pinout list or at least the pin number for the shield? Could we just use a chassis ground near the ECU? I'd rather go inside the plug, but I'm somewhat open to "do what works". Thanks in advance, John
