If you tap it, you should hear the spring inside. If you do, just put some pressure on it. Make sure you don't bend the tube.. it should collapse. They are the way to go. I've used them a handful of times now.

Hi folks, I have this new pushrod tube in my hand and had imagined that it would be spring loaded. It seems fused and wont seem to budge? It's a mexican Bus D part.... how does this thing work? I'll ignore the genius at the BD counter who told me I had to remove my head to replace the tube.
