Subject: 50 cents to fix the AFM
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I just installed a 25 volt 22 microfarrad capacitor between terminals 2 and 4 on the plug for the AFM to fix the intermittent problems that our Vanagons suffer from. I read of two ways to install the capacitor. But when I did the job I just popped the connectors out of the plug using a paper clip and soldered the capacitor onto the metal connector and then taped it down and covered it with the boot for the AFM. This seems to be the best way to do the job. And it was about $99 cheaper than the dealer.
