Mike,

This is something a lot of us are interested in. You would do a great service by keeping track of your expenses and sharing that with the list when you are complete. In the real world that most of us live in only minor repairs are accomplished at home and anything major is left to the "professionals" so your total cost including labor is the usefull figure.
