Well, I installed the 50 watt bulbs into my turn signal, and brake light sockets, and also installed halogen back up light bulbs. I also traded the 1056 running light bulbs, for 1156, in that they are heavy duty truck bulbs, with a better filament material, and will last longer. My findings are as follows; Running lights---Wow ! Turn signals----Wow ! Brake lights----Wow ! Back up lights--- Orgasmic !! I left the parking lights on for 1 hour, and found no excessive heat on the running light lens. Not enough to melt it anyway. The turn signals aren't on long enough, to even worry about them. Same with the back up lights. The brake lights, I placed an adjustable hood support rod between the seat and brake pedal, so the brake lights would remain on. I left them on for about 10 minutes, (longer than the average stop light) and felt no excessive heat on the lens. The back up lights are amazing----it looks as though there are mini spot lights on the rear of my van. I can actually see where I am going in reverse. So, my conclusions are ---------------- Good investment, excellent tail light visibility, for the motorist's approaching my rear. Far superior to the antiquated stock bulb arrangement. Denario's well spent. Try it --you'll like it. Later, ______________ |[ ] [ ] [ ]\ | | | | ||-(())----(())-| Terry 85 GL |
