I was beaming with pride at my sheer genius at swapping over my original '82 seat uprights and their covers to uprights from the later version that comes with arm rests. I then had the armrests re-covered to match the original cover. I fitted the inner two rests and beamed ever brighter ...what a clever chap I am I thought.... Then I fitted one of the outside rests to the passenger seat ...stood back ...beamed a bit more then closed the door.....Big Problem ...the armrest clashed with the door arm rest ....gulp...smile rapidly vanishes...
So, my question is ...do the later vans have different door trim ..? specifically, different arm rests? Or, is it really simply a matter of making sure the seat armrest is in the upright position before closing the door? Steve |
