Subject: Rekindling search for an elusive part ('85 Vanagon)

This is a vacuum hose connector. Plastic, or nylon, I guess. On the right side of the engine there are two switches: one that boosts the vacuum when the air conditioning is on, and one that boosts the idle when the power steering pump is stressed. Out of the bottom of these two switches is a "Y" shaped hose that connects these two switches to a single vacuum hose. The connector between these two hoses is what I am looking for. This part shows up on NO Volkswagen microfiche. Has anyone ever seen this part? And does anyone have one they might be willing to sell me from a van they've parted out. I've "gerry" rigged something for the past few years but it never worked well and the resulting leak makes my Vanagon stall when i let the engine drop down to idle, make turns at idle, or use the AC at idle.
