I'm looking into towing options on the Vanagon. I'm getting conflicting info. Tiico (sp?) has a tralor hitch rated at 1.5 tons and they tell me that and an inline engine (they sell) along with gas shocks will pull a 10k

travel trailor.

Anyone have nay real life experiences towing? I once saw a Vanagon Towing a flatbed trailor with another Vanagon on it and a bug being towed after, so I'm curious as to the limit. My mach says you don;t want to tow anthing heavier than 3500 lbs, but then they only do stock everything.

Thanks!
