And I thought I had seen them all.....I worked on a customer's 1991 Syncro Westy today, and one of the tasks was to check out the fridge operation. I had, up to this point, never seen the newer fridge with push-button controls. It also has an electronic igniter controlled by the gas push-button. Therein lies the problem. The button works, and the little red light above glows, but never flashes indicating that the igniter is sparking. My question is: does this indicate the electronic igniter unit is defective? Or have I overlooked something else? There is current going into and out of the three-way button switch. Oh, and of course the fridge doesn't light! Also, should the green LED on the panel glow when the fridge is turned to electric (12V or 115V) as in the earlier models? That LED doesn't function at all presently. Thanks in advance for any advice!
