Patrick,
Unless you received some really rude, snide remarks and comments that
didn't make it to the list, I can't see why you're so upset as to call the
list unfriendly and then unsubscribe.  From what I've read, people responed
to your comments saying that you were off base, and they offered other data
to support their claim.  You were wrong - big deal.  We all are at one time
or another, and the list is quick to point out a mistake, usually offering
data as to why.  There was/is nothing nasty or unfriendly about it.  Just a
free-flowing exchange of ideas.

And for the record, this is THE friendliest list I've been involved in.  If
you made your comments to the Passat list, you'd have been called an idiot,
a bunderhead, and much worse.  Reconsider your position...

Judging by the response I received to my post about headlight wattage, I'd
like to apologize to the entire list community. I am apparently incorrect
in
my understanding.

And in response to the jerks who emailed to me at my home email address I
will now unsubscribe. I don't need this. Let me know if this list becomes
friendly again.
