I run the Passat wheels without spacers on my syncro. Even with 215/75R15LT tires, I don't think they stick out too far at all. In fact, they look stock (except that my syncro is now 1.5" taller!!

I have just started modifying the stock Passat hubcaps for use on it as well. The fronts fit, but the rears hit the axle nut.

Does anyone have some web space available for some pics? I have some pics of my syncro with both the 205/70R14 MXLs and with the 215/75R15LT Dakotas. A picture is worth a thousand words when talking offset.
