Sharon,

Try Shell RotellaT 15w-40. You can get a gallon of it in Wal-Mart for about US$6. Oil made just for a diesel. Wal-Mart also had Delvac 1300. It's your choice...Shell or Mobil. Both are the same specs, just different brands.
