I am instantly reminded of John Miur's car repair rules

1. How much bread you have. 2. How far you want to go.

The amount of bread you have will ultimately determine how far the parts you buy will take you. I see a $20 investment as viable. Let's say your current water pump fails in the middle of Death Valley, and you HAVE to repair your vehicle on site.
