Here's the info: Volkswagens Over the Skyway The New Beginning: The agenda will be as follows: Camping at Lake Manatee Park Starting April 27 thru April 29, 2001 Camping is First Come First Serve but they usually accommodate us. Sites are approx. $15per night. April 29th,We will assemble at Winn Dixie at 11am. and pull out for our journey across the SunShine Skyway at 11:30am. to peak the bridge by high noon. And continue to Maximo Park for our VW family picnic. Directions:Lake Manatee Park From the North take 275 south to I-75 south take exit #42 for SR. 64 upon making exit turn Left on SR. 64 proceed East approx. 8 miles there will be a sign Park Entrance 1000 feet also there will be additional VW Camping signs as well . Winn Dixie From the North take 275 South to I-75 south take exit #42 for SR. 64 upon making exit turn Right on SR. 64 proceed West approx. 1 mile on your left will be the Winn Dixie parking lot. Maximo Park From the Winn Dixie on SR. 64 Head East to I-75 North remain on I-75 North to Exit for 275 North to St.Petersburg continue North over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and stay to the right side of the road taking the exit for Pinellas Point DR. turn left and follow service road to Pinellas Bayway turn left again Park Entrance is strait ahead.
