Sometimes, when I turn on the key the coolant temp LED will flash as it's supposed to, and the fuel gauge and temperature gauge needles will start to rise, as they are supposed to do. Other times, they will act completely dead. Some time during the drive, they will function and then quit at will. IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!! I put another instrument pod into the vehicle, and the same symptoms appear, so I am ruling out that the problem is in the gauges themselves. Could it be the ignition V+ supply is not steadily reaching the instrument panel through the multipin connector? Any one have this problem? Any leads would be appreciated......... gary |
