I sent this yesterday, but it may have been misconstrued as spam so here it is again: 1. I am considering replacing my fuel tank sender unit because the fuel gauge is reading low. I have replaced the voltage regulator and tested it. I have grounded the fuel gauge and it reads full quite quickly when I do so. Sender is left? How sluggish is the fuel gauge normally? 2. I am wondering if the temp gauge is reading low too. The needle sits just below the LED during normal driving conditions around Seattle in 50 degree weather. With the voltage regulator being suspicious (even though it is new) is there any other common element between the fuel and temp gauges? 3. My speedo needle vibrates between 35 and 45 mph. I have lubed the cable at the dash with no luck. Any and all thoughts are appreciated on these items. Thanks, Marcus 89 Westy Seattle WA |
