Jenny et all-- I don't have a photo of this screen in open position. When the sliding door curtain/bug screen is closed I simply twist the screen, fold it twice, & snap it up against the pillar just like normal. No trouble or inconvenience to me. I have thought of pulling the pulling the basting thread I used to attach the screen & attach the screen to the curtain with velcro--that way you can take it down when not in use.
