If the list were closed and you were on the road and needed to send mail to the list you could: 1) get a free "hotmail" (www.hotmail.com) or other web-based e-mail account 2) subscribe to the list 3) post your message from whateverfreewebmailserveryouchose.com I think one could accomplish this in 5 minutes at a public library or i-cafe. Wouldn't this work? In what situation would one have access to the internet but be unable to subscribe to the list?
