Find a rubber stopper to fit the hole. Drill a hole thru it as large as practical to accept a short piece of metal tubing. Attach a long piece of rubber tubing. At the other end attach a large funnel or something similar. Hold the funnel as high as possible and pour in the gear oil. Be very patient. This should work if there is a vent to let out the air pressure. Instead of gravity feed you might be able to apply some pressure to increase the flo. Since you can't check the level thru the fill hole you will have to know the correct amount of oil to add and measure carefully. Once the oil is in you will have to *quickly* yank out the rubber stopper and slap in the drain plug. good luck, Larry A. |
