I'm willing to let everyone else vote on open / closed, but I, too, think that it's ridiculous for anyone's employer's email policy to dictate anything about the behavior of the Vanagon list. What if a legitimate "hot, steaming pussy" discussion comes up? Or some more realistic, but borderline discussion that offends employer's policies? It's one thing for list members to shoot down a discussion for being off-topic, it's another thing entirely for discussions to be off limits because *my* boss doesn't like the words *you're* using. Right? :) I drove my '89 Wolfsburg from Reading to Wilkes-Barre on Friday, and back again on Saturday, and it felt *great* to be on the road on such beautiful days!
