Subject: tiico engine - temp increase?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hey all,

Anyone that's done the tiico engine conversion have you observed an increase in engine temp? Does your cooling system basically perform the same or does the needle run a little higher now?

I noticed on tiico's site that the engine has a 'feature' to shut itself down if it gets to 110 celcius (230 F.) - that doesn't seem that hot to me - anyone's engine ever demonstrate this feature??

When I install mine I'm thinking of adding an oil temp. gauge; Southern Utah can get pretty hot - I guess not as hot as parts of Africa though...

Thanks,

Damian
