I picked up my new S&S kit today. The parts place gave me a set of manifold gaskets too. (metal on one side, and softer material on the other.) When I found the ones that came with the kit (thick and hard, but not metal, flat edge on one side and rounded edge on the other), I thought that they were the ones to use, and that the parts place had mistakenly given me extras.

I have really screwed up on this cause the setup is insanely loud.

I guess I gotta take it all apart, put the metal gaskets in, metal side to manifold.... But do I use the ones that came from S&S too? If so, does the flat side or the rounded side of the S&S gasket go toward the manifold?

I need a drink, I just spent 4 hours doing that, and now I gotta take it all back apart.
