Ok, i have an 84. I had a problem a few years ago where the fuel pump would take about 30 seconds to fire up after i turned the ignition... So i exchanged the two relays and the fuel pump problem was solved. Then i went to flaps on replaced both relays for something like 8$ each.

I have an 84, 1.9, CA, metallic blue wolfsburg with 2.75E6 miles on it. Cheers Matthew
