Ditto. I see posts to the list and i decide which ones i want to read and which ones i don't want to open. if someone is posting about a diesel van, i won't open it since i don't know jack about diesel vanagons. and that is what i did with that spam post. i only open known subject lines. i am not what formatit is... archives or what but i know it is better than getting mail constantly or even getting it in clusters. and if i am accessing the list this way by it being open, then i will be selfish and say that i would like the list to stay open.
