Get a clue Kyle...the employer is not controlling the behavior of the Vanagon list or any other list for that matter. It can, however, control whatever traffic which comes across company-owned bandwidth, equipment and networks from whatever source.

As a number of posters have already mentioned, people have been fired for misuse or abuse of email, and even one person had to go to his employer to let them know he was receiving porno through the vanagon list. What more do you want here? Face it employer based policies are a fact of life for a number of us.
