The Chevron with Techron is the only stuff to get. Funny how all that stuff smells like Coleman lantern duel you buy for $4 a gallon instead of $8 for 8 oz.

Have a bank account deligated to Vanagon parts only.

Buy the Bentley manual, or the Haynes.

I use Castrol GTX 20 / 50 oil, ( 15 /40 in the winter) change every 3000 miles, and add Marvel Mystery oil to it to keep things clean, inside the sewing machine.

For sure use a VW factory oil filter.

And for the coolant I use the Sierra phosphate free anti freeze.

May the VW God's be with you.
