I just picked up that free diesel vanagon in NJ yesterday, so now i have the parts that I need for my 88' GL. I'm going to use an engine out of a 82 quantom wagen that only has 10,000 miles on it(it was a factory new motor then the fuel distributor went, so my customer gave it to my years ago). So my question now is: any insight on the electrics would be helpful. This way I can bang out the swap quickly and enjoy my "new" ride. This will be quite a differance from the 71' Westy that I had and sold in the fall.

thank you all for all the help.

Shaggy
