Dave I'd love to hear if anyone has actualy done this. It's one of those questions that gets asked from time to time and people say its possible but no one ever pipes up and says "I did it! Here are photos and a detailed description of how".

Apart from the syncro tank option, you should be aware of the 22.5 Gallon replacement gas tank from Winkler (as opposed to the stock 16 gallon tank) will NOT fit in your Air Cooled van with the BA6 gas heater in its stock location. Theoretically the heater could be moved to the space under the sliding door to make room, but again I don't know anyone that has done it.

Thanks, Chris
