Subject:      transmission needed
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

i have a 1986 vanagon that is in need of a rebuilt transmission. my mechanic tells me it will be about 1000$ right now i don't have the money to fix it and it is sitting , resting , waiting for it's fate.

can anyone help me out with suggestions as to what i should do? any reasonable ideas on having the tranny work done? i am also considering selling to someone who could put the work into it.

thanks,

joe
