hello big list,

i've successfully changed the little light bulb that illuminates the digital clock in my 85 gl (thanks to all who helped). that works now so i am operating in Full Illumination mode. Turns out the bulb is the same one that lights the speedo and tach (surprise, my dealer couldn't find the part no.) Marshall Ruskin was kind enough to fish out a spare bulb that I dropped down the dash last week while changing another bulb up there. When i went to reconnect the tach I find that it doesn't rest at 0 with the motor off, and sticks a little when accelerating. I think it reads a little high on the low end but accurate at higher motor speeds. Did I do something to damage it, or is it going to work it's way loose?

Thanks again for any tips Jeff 85 Westy Winnipeg
